Sorry for being MIA in the past few days. I did a catering event with two of my friends on Saturday and I needed to recover from it for couple of days 🙂

A good friend of mine is an amazing cook, whatever she touches it turns into incredible feast. I always help her when she has parties at her house so when she asked me to do this event with her I thought no biggie. We also have similar taste in design so she knew she could trust me on presentation. The event was a birthday party for 50 people and we had to prepare five main dishes, plus salad, cheese, vegetable and fruit platter.
We are both perfectionist so we always pay a lot of attention to details so you can imagine that adding to the whole process.

Our main dishes were; moussaka, vegetable quiche, short rib sliders, a Persian dish called tahchin which is rice with chicken baked in the oven as well as mini frittata.

At the end everything turned out great and I am so happy I was part of this affair. There are always small mistakes that you make in your first few events, but what matters is that you learn from it.
